Design Within offers a range of services to fit our client’s needs. We take pride in creating client specific designs that combine functionality with aesthetic value, resulting in an interior space that is beautiful and usable for today’s fast paced lifestyles. We offer full scale design services for residential, small office/commercial, specialty shops, and design to sell projects in the tri-city area and beyond. By working through the Michigan Design Center, and local resources, we are able to offer our clients exclusive access and discounts to the finest quality interior furnishings from over 1,500 manufacturers, assuring you that your design is one of a kind. Fee Structure:

Design Within offers the first hour consultation free of charge. Within this initial hour we will meet with you to get to know the project as well as go over what you can expect from working with Design Within. From there we will explain in detail our options for fee structures and help you decide which fee structure best suits you and your project. Because no two projects or clients are alike we offer a couple different options; one being an hourly consultation rate of $50.00 per hour, this working best for the "do-it-yourselfer's" and designed to sell clients needing inspiration and guidance. The second being a total project commission of 20%, this working best for larger scale projects and providing the ultimate customer service experience. Within this structure any discounts received by Design Within will be passed on in full to our clients. Discounts are generally 40 – 50% below retail pricing; this allows us to offer highly competitive pricing with no hidden costs; as we believe that our clients have the right to know exactly what they are paying for.

I entered the design world, creating Design Within, LLC in January 2005, prior to that I was able to gain valuable experience and knowledge as a co-op with a local design firm. I earned an associates degree in business studies with an interior design major from Delta College in 2005, and I am currently an Allied Member of ASID, working towards qualifying for NCIDQ exam in 2009. I find that being new in this industry is an asset, as it allows me to bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to each project. Interior design is not my job, it is my passion!
